How to Get to Walnut Creek, CA
Walnut Creek is located in eastern California, around 16 miles east of Oakland, California. The closest airport is Oakland International Airport and the second closest is San Francisco International Airport. If you’re driving to Walnut Creek from San Francisco, Oakland or San Jose, it’ll take half an hour to an hour to get there.
You can drive around Walnut Creek but make sure to park in one of its parking garages in downtown to walk around and check out its public art. The city also has two Bay Area Rapid Transit stations if you prefer public transit.
