Sherman Oaks is a quiet, yet pretty active area north of Los Angeles. It gives off that bustling California vibe we all come to love. This neighborhood is filled with a diversity of entertainers, artists, locals, tourists, families, and everything in between. If you are traveling to Sherman Oaks for work, there is still plenty to keep you busy after 5:00 pm.
Don’t leave the neighborhood without stopping by Sherman Oaks Galleria. This place will have everything you need for the night, including a high end movie theatre, restaurants, and a gym. It’s one of the main locations Sherman Oaks is known for.
How to Get to Sherman Oaks in Los Angeles
Sherman Oak is located near the 101/405 intersection, a direct route north of LAX (Los Angeles International Airport). The best way to get around Sherman Oaks will be to rent your own vehicle or to use Lyft. Be prepared for heavy traffic though after 5:00 pm, so plan for at least an extra 30-60 minutes to get to your destination.
Where to Eat Dinner in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles

The Sherman // Fine dining that focuses on fresh and sustainable ingredients will not disappoint you at this local favorite. Hand-crafted cocktails add to the rustic charm this place is giving off.

Things to Do in Sherman Oaks at Night
Walking through Ventura Blvd // This is the main road of Sherman Oaks and most of the SFV (San Fernando Valley. You’ll find it filled with vintage shops, cafes, bars, spas, and restaurants. You may want to take a relaxing walk and find your own little spot next time you are in town.
Castle Sherman Oaks // Play some mini-golf to build up team camaraderie or hit some balls at the batting cages to relieve the days stress.
The One-Up // This bar not only has a decent pour on drinks but also provides you with a number of arcade-based video games in the back room.
Ultra-Zone Laser tag // Another place to help develop team communications and strategy. After going downstairs or across the street to enjoy the great food and drinks Sherman Oaks has to offer.
House of Billiards // There’s enough open pool tables and space to fit your whole team for a night of good beer and games.
Be prepared for a lot of traffic. L.A. is notorious for it’s congestion on the roads and freeways after working hours.
